Spelling Homework

         Students will have Spelling Homework 
Mondays - Thursdays. Students will have 10 spelling words from our Wonders Reading Program. Five words are phonetic words and cover the sound taught in class. The other five words are learned words/ high frequency words that break the phonetic rule, and are commonly used words. 


  

       The Spelling Homework will follow the routine below, 
unless otherwise indicated in the Communication Planner.

Wonders Spelling Words

The Spelling List will be posted by Unit. Parents and students have access to the upcoming words so that you can plan your assignments accordingly. If your child has an event, or extra-curricular activity you can complete the assignments prior to the due date to better adjust to your personal schedule. ​
